Medicine is my passion but I want more!
I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I remember. The idea of going for some other profession never crossed my mind. Medicine was my whole world, my passion, and my dream. I had this burning desire within me to make a mark in the medical world, and that fire is still blazing within me.
After countless sleepless nights, exhausting study schedules, and many tears, the day finally arrived when I donned the white coat and stepped into a hospital to commence my practice. Life at the hospital intrigued me and depressed me.
I had all kinds of highs and lows. Some days were ecstatic, while others were downright saddening. The thrill of knowing your one step can save a life and the fear of your mistake being costly for someone else kept me on my toes.
I learned and learned, trying to be the best on the ground, wanting to make sure that I could benefit one and all with my services. But somehow, that never seemed enough. I could see that the major problem with most patients was a lack of awareness. There were so many misconceptions that needed to be dealt with. I really wanted to do something about it.
My Goal in Life
I inspire that many years down the road; I will be able to look back and say that I have managed to make a difference. I want my medical career to be meaningful. Of course, every doctor dreams of that, but I want more. I want to make my presence in the medical world widely known.
I want to shatter the perception that female doctors aren’t worth it. I want to encourage more people to join the field and become an active part of the community.
And I believe that I am on the right track. I have been trying to share my knowledge on every available platform. I want to make sure that people don’t have to spend thousands on something when a much safer and affordable alternative is available.
Nothing should take precedence over health, both physical and mental. I want to inspire people to lead a quality life and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The past few years have taught me that one has to pay attention to every aspect of their life. You can’t be so absorbed in one thing that you forget about everything else. A one-track mind seldom benefits anyone.
I believe that nature has gifted us with so much, but we remain strangers to its blessings. My goal is to encourage people to use both medical and natural remedies to get the best in life.
I don’t believe that medicinal drugs are the solution to everything. Sometimes, the answer lies in nature. What’s important is to strike the right balance and determine which route to take in a specific solution.
It truly feels like I have uncovered the ultimate secret of a healthy lifestyle, one that truly makes a difference to not only my life but others too.
